Description
The SmartSource Elite 55 scanner has been optimized for remote deposit capture applications. With a processing speed of 55 documents per minute and a 100-document auto-feeder the SmartSource Elite scanner quickly processes batches of documents. The SmartSource Elite 55 scanner is configured with a highly flexible rear ink-jet endorser for remote deposit capture applications where endorsing the check is required.
By popular demand, we’ve given the Elite series a new front-feeding ID card feed mechanism for capturing driver’s licenses and other rigid cards in full color. The 600 dpi image sensor is sensitive enough to read barcodes, capture microprinting, and other modern security features.
Proper cleaning is the easiest – but most effective – way to prevent paper jams, double-feeds, image-quality problems, and unnecessary repairs on your scanners. Digital Check’s self-cleaning feature makes it simple by giving a mechanical assist to your front-line operators. When cleaning mode is activated, the scanner accepts a cleaning card and moves the card back and forth while progressing through the track to clean surfaces and collect paper dust and debris. An indicator light tells you when it’s time for a cleaning interval, so users don’t have to remember on their own.
